Li-Fi – 100 Times Faster than Wi-Fi

With the rapid growth of technology it’s no surprise that Wi-Fi is now becoming old hat. High-speed transmission of data by Visual Light Communication (VLC) has been tested and will be become common parlance in tech nomenclature in the coming months.

Having achieved speeds of 224 gigabytes per second in tests, scientists are claiming to be able to reach data transmission at 1 GB per second, which is 100 times faster than average Wi-Fi speeds today.

Li-Fi has just been tested in the real world, and it’s 100 times faster than Wi-Fi

Sorry, Wi-Fi. We had some good times together.
